How the programme is made
Four exhibitions a year, each running between ten and fourteen weeks, with about two weeks dark between them while the rooms are repainted and the next hang is set out on the floor before it goes on the wall.
Every exhibition is hung on one line, 150cm above the floor, and every work is lit flat unless the work itself asks for something else. Wall text is a label: artist, title, year, medium, size. There is no introductory panel and there will not be one.
The gallery does not take submissions and does not run an open call. Shows come out of studio visits, and the six artists on the list are the ones the programme is built from. Curators and institutions proposing a loan should email the office.
