First Hang

Eleven works by three artists, and a printworks that had been empty for six years. The floor was left as it was found. The walls were made good, painted once, and the hang line was set at 150cm on the first morning and has not moved since.

Everything the gallery does now was decided in that room - one line, true size, free entry, no wall text longer than a label.
